Oh , wow-I did not see this until now.....hugs from all of us at the Tabby house.

JTA... it is Monday afternoon now. How are you feeling today? Sending you all good wishes for the speediest recovery. I am so glad you found your good sense and went to the hospital when you did! Want me to bring you a hot meal from Reservoir or Bunny's? A great big deli sandwich? Tell us what you need and want. A clean nightie? LOL! You went in directly from the Er so maybe you need... what? your stuff from home. You have a net book so somebody must have stopped by (Thank God, right?) but if you want anything... LMK! Please. I'd be happy to bring it.

Has anyone heard from JTA? It's starting to make me anxious that she's been out of contact for more than a day...
Do we know what hospital she's in?
She was at Overlook. Perhaps someone can try to call her there?
It is a bit un-nerving.

Maybe her netbook ran out of charge and her family has failed to bring her charger. I would hope she'd be home by now... hope you are okay, JTA!

I just talked to Justtheaunt right now ...
She is still in the hospital ... the antibiotics haven't done there job, so they will proceed to do a small surgery (today) to drain the infection.
She haven't been able to be online because she can"t move her arm ...
and she is still mad at the cat lol ! I have to admit she still have a sense of humor
I'm planning on visiting her today for a bit .. so I will keep you guys posted =)
I forgot to add ... She Thanks everyone for there concern and well wishes !!
As soon as she is out of the hospital she will post =)

The doctors are happy she went to the hospital ... if she would of waited longer could of been a serious matter ...

She will be home between Thursday or Friday ...after the surgery she needs to stay at least 24 hours ..
Wow, this did turn into something serious. I'm so glad she did get to the ER; wish she'd gotten there sooner so as not to go through all of this. It's so easy to think something isn't important, isn't it? Sometimes we take better care of our families and pets than ourselves. I'd have probably ignored it at first, too.
I hope everything goes well and that she's home - and feeling much better - very soon. (I'd be giving the cat the stink eye, too, if I were in this situation!:smile

I think most of us would have ignored it. I only found out through my doctor that unless the redness is streaking up your arm (that is, it's not spreading) you are probably okay. JTA posted originally that it was doing just that. Glad she went to the emergency room. Infections these days are nothing to take for granted.
